Subaru Australia have agreed to provide free membership to our club for all owners of new WRX or STi.

The agreement means that Subaru Australia will place a membership form for the WRX Club of WA in all new WRX and STi's sold in WA. To take advantage of the offer, the buyer should fill out the form and have the dealer endorse it and then send the form in to the club as per the address details on the form.

For some time the club had been resisting applying for CAMS affiliation. In the past couple of months the matter of CAMS affiliation has been revisited and after some considerable discussion at recent Committee Meetings and General Meetings it was agreed that it would be in the best interests of the club to seek affiliation. As of 10.04.2006 that has been granted by CAMS.

One of the benefits is that it is no longer necessary to be a member of another CAMS affiliated club in order to qualify for a CAMS L2 licence and this will save members some money.
