The 2010 Club Motorsport Championship Series will be run concurrently with the The Wheels World 2010 EVO Vs WRX Motorsport Series. There will be 4 events scheduled during the year covering Autokhana, Hill Climb and Track disciplines.

It is important to note that the IWRXOC Club Championship and the EVO vs WRX Series are two separate series but that they utilise the same events.

Subaru Australia have agreed to provide free membership to our club for all owners of new WRX or STi.

The agreement means that Subaru Australia will place a membership form for the Impreza WRX Owners Club of WA in all new WRX and STi's sold in WA. To take advantage of the offer, the buyer should fill out the form and have the dealer endorse it and then send the form in to the club as per the address details on the form.

For some time the club had been resisting applying for CAMS affiliation. In the past couple of months the matter of CAMS affiliation has been revisited and after some considerable discussion at recent Committee Meetings and General Meetings it was agreed that it would be in the best interests of the club to seek affiliation. As of 10.04.2006 that has been granted by CAMS.

One of the benefits is that it is no longer necessary to be a member of another CAMS affiliated club in order to qualify for a CAMS L2 licence and this will save members some money.
